As of December 31,2008,the summary statistics of SA8000 by SAAS are 1874,involving 66 countries and 67 countries.

The top five countries are Italy,India,China,Brazil and Pakistan.Each of them holds 846 certificates(45.14%),320 certificates(17.08%),235certificate(12.54%),102 certificates(5.44%) and 67certificates(3.58%) of total.
The mail land of China holds 235 certificates,HongKong holds 7certificates and Taiwan holds 16 certificates.
In the main land of China,the top five certified facilities by industry areApparel,Footwear,Textiles,Accessories and Electronics.
The top five certification body certificates are BVQI(527 certificates),SGS(337 certificates),RINA(306 certificates),DNV(242 certificates),CISE(175 certificates)
